Chronology of a Regicide

c.1605 Pride born in the hamlet of Pedwell, Somerset.
1622 Moves to London where he is apprenticed to Thomas Radway, haberdasher.
1629 Pride made free of the Haberdashers’ Company.
Charles Stewart embarks on eleven year rule without an elected Parliament.
1633 The independent church of Henry Jacob, to which Pride had recently been affiliated, is repressed by order of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
